Love Letters: it ain't all sweet
I fell in love with words after reading I Know Why the Caged Bird sings for the first time. It wasn’t written as a book of poetry, but to me, it was poetry. It introduced me to my best friend.
I’ve written a lot of poems, most of them about love. One of the things I realized is that love ain’t always sweet. Sometimes, love is mean. But, no matter if it’s sweet or not, it’s needed.
I’ve also written a lot of letters in my life, most of them love letters. Some of them I sent, some of them will see the light of day in this collection. All of them were written in love, with love, and by love.
I am love.
